About Us:

We are working with a two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a happy and inclusive school that provides an excellent education for all its children. They are looking for a part-time PPA Teacher, for three days a week (Weds – Fri), to teach across Reception and KS1. There would also be some ad hoc cover required in KS2 in this PPA Teacher role. The school can offer a welcoming and enthusiastic environment with a talented and dedicated staff team. If you would like to work as a PPA Teacher, please read on! Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a PPA Teacher
• Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
• Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• QTS or HLTA qualification
• Strong behaviour management
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Prior experience teaching across the year groups
• UK classroom-based experience
