At BAM, we are currently recruiting a Preconstruction Support Lead to join our team. The role is based in Wellingborough with a hybrid working model offering flexibility between home, office.
Making Possible Work with the energy pre-construction team as required to support marketing, pre-qualification, and tender activities
Work with the Pre-Construction team and Client Account leads to plan, record, and monitor conversations with clients, designers, and strategic supply chain.
Researching future opportunities
Produce a range of client and business-facing collateral, including case studies, presentations, and proposal documents
Assist with creating and distributing prepositioning documentation
Providing support and assistance to bids as required, cascading the prepositioning strategy and knowledge
Liaise with the project and pre-construction teams to capture social media updates to feed into our corporate accounts
Engage with our project teams to produce high-quality case studies and collate evidence data to contribute to our central Knowledge Management System
Helping to identify and source evidence across the Region including setting up and managing a SharePoint space for each project to capture and collate evidence throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain a regional awards programme and log to identify opportunities across projects in the North, including the preparation of persuasive award submissions through collaboration with site, client and stakeholder teams
Support to arrange internal and external meetings
What do you bring to the role? Experience of a variety of sectors, particularly organisations with dispersed, customer-facing teams (construction / civil engineering not essential)
Data literate and able to identify and adapt to emerging trends
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
Able to travel to projects which may include remote locations within northern England.
Proficient editorial and writing skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Able to identify and respond to colleagues needs
Enjoys collaborating with others to achieve results
Ability to work with complex technical subject matter
