Prep Chef (Daytime Hours) – Growing Middle Eastern & Mediterranean Food Brand | London A fast-growing Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired healthy food concept with multiple locations across London (a mix of restaurants and dark kitchens) is looking for a reliable and organised Prep Chef to support daily kitchen production across sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie or strong Junior Chef who is looking to move away from late-night services and into a daytime-focused role within an expanding company. The Role Full-time position – 40 hours per week Up to £28,000 - depending on experience Daytime shifts only, between 7:00am – 5pm Rotational schedule Monday to Sunday Days off will fall on weekdays or weekends depending on the rota Occasional earlier starts or later finishes based on operational needs Supporting multiple London sites with daily preparation and production The Opportunity Structured daytime working hours with no late nights Join a growing food business with ambitious expansion plans - Opening 10+ sites in the next 2 years Future progression opportunities as the company develops a central production unit A stable role suited to chefs who enjoy preparation work and team support Key Responsibilities Preparing fresh ingredients and menu components in line with brand specifications Supporting kitchen teams ahead of service to ensure smooth operations Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene Working efficiently to meet daily prep volumes and timelines Contributing to a positive and supportive kitchen environment Candidate Profile Experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or Junior Chef Background in branded hospitality or fast casual restaurant concepts Familiarity with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or fresh food-led menus is highly desirable Strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach to kitchen work Comfortable following recipes, specs, and production processes Looking for improved work-life balance and long-term progression This position would suit someone dependable, practical, and motivated who wants to grow with a developing London food brand while maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
