We're recruiting for a Pre-Treatment and Powder Coating Operative to join a busy Fabrications department. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for preparing and powder coating fabrication assemblies and components to meet quality standards and tolerances. You'll work closely with the Works Supervisor and Lead Operatives to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
What's the Job?
Preparing fabrication assemblies and parts prior to powder coating Applying powder coating finishes to meet quality and tolerance standards Working from Job Packs and signing off relevant documentation Following Company Personnel Instructions and quality procedures Supporting the Works Supervisor and Lead Operative with daily production needs Reporting any concerns relating to parts, builds, equipment or personnel Maintaining tidy, safe and organised work areas at all times Signing for delivered goods when required and ensuring paperwork is forwarded correctly Working closely with the wider Manufacturing and Engineering teams Complying with ISO 9001 quality standards and the Business Management SystemYou'll play a key part in ensuring finished fabrication components meet the required quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

Has previous experience in powder coating or a similar manufacturing role Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their finish quality Works productively and stays focused throughout the shift Maintains high safety and housekeeping standards Communicates clearly with supervisors and team members Is proactive and confident raising concerns or improvement ideasExperience in a structured manufacturing environment is highly beneficial, but a strong work ethic and team-focused attitude are just as important.
The Basics:
37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday - 07:30-16:00/17:00 (flexible start/finish within stated times) Friday - 07:30-11:45/12:45 Days only 12 Week Temp - Perm
