The Role

The successful Primary Class Teacher will take on a Year 6 class, guiding pupils through their final year of primary education.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments in a supportive and balanced way Tracking progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs Creating a focused and positive classroom environment Working closely with colleagues to plan and share resources

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a Primary Class Teacher who:

Holds QTS and has recent experience teaching in KS2 Has a strong understanding of Year 6 expectations and assessment Maintains high expectations for behaviour and attainment Is organised, reflective and committed to improving outcomes Works well as part of a teamPrevious experience teaching Year 6 or Upper KS2 is highly desirable.
