The School

A dynamic and forward-thinking primary school in the Streatham Hill area of Lambeth is seeking a committed Primary Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

The successful Primary Class Teacher will take responsibility for a Lower KS2 class, delivering engaging and structured lessons that support both academic progress and pupil independence.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Supporting pupils' development across core and foundation subjects
Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and track progress
Establishing clear routines and maintaining high expectations for behaviour
Working collaboratively with the year group team to share planning and resources

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Class Teacher who:

Holds QTS and has recent UK classroom experience
Has experience teaching in KS2
Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisation
Is reflective and committed to improving pupil outcomes
Works well as part of a team and contributes to the wider school community
