The Role – Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire
We are seeking a confident and skilled Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire to start in January 2026, working for the remainder of the 2025/26 academic year. This exciting Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire role will involve a combination of 1:1 SEND interventions and covering PPA across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
As a Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire, you will support pupils with additional needs through targeted interventions, helping them to make progress academically, socially and emotionally. Alongside this, the Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons during PPA cover, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high expectations in the classroom.
This role would suit a Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Lancashire who is adaptable, organised and confident working across different year groups, with a strong understanding of SEND support.
