Aspire People are working in partnership with a well-established and forward-thinking primary school in Salford who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This role is ideal for a confident HLTA who is comfortable leading whole-class sessions, covering PPA, and delivering structured interventions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
The Role:
Delivering pre-planned lessons across different year groups during PPA cover.
Leading small-group booster sessions in Maths and English.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
Working closely with teaching staff to maintain high standards of learning.
Assisting with planning and adapting lesson materials where required.
Supporting behaviour management and classroom organisation.
Contributing to assessment and pupil progress monitoring.
The Ideal Candidate:
HLTA status or significant experience in a higher-level TA role.
Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
Confident delivering lessons independently.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Recent experience within a UK primary school (within the last 2 years).
Flexible and adaptable approach to working across year groups.
