Primary School Teacher (Years 3, 4 & 5)

Location: Beachcroft Ormiston Primary School Salary: £150 per day

Contract Type: Temporary (initially until the end of May, with potential extension to the end of the school year)

Beachcroft Ormiston Primary School is seeking a dedicated and resilient Primary School Teacher to work across Years 3, 4, and 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who thrives in a dynamic classroom environment and is confident supporting pupils with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment

* Support and inspire pupils, including those with additional and complex needs

* Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning abilities

* Work collaboratively with staff, support workers, and parents to ensure pupil progress

Essential Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Proven experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour

* Strong classroom management skills and a calm, consistent approach

* Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset

Desirable:

* Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions

* Experience in upper Key Stage 2 settings

We are looking for a teacher who is confident, robust, and committed to making a positive impact on pupils who require additional support. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

The position is available immediately and is expected to run until the end of May; however, this may be subject to change and could extend through to the end of the academic year.
