SEN Class Teacher - Primary (Mixed Needs) - Winchester Full Time Permanent Salary: MPR/UPR + SEN Allowance Start Date: September 2026 Applications are warmly welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs. Prospero Teaching is proud to be supporting a nurturing, inclusive SEN primary school in Winchester as they seek a passionate SEN Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The school provides a supportive, child centred environment for primary aged pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, physical disabilities, and complex medical needs. Staff work closely with families, therapists, and external professionals to ensure every child receives personalised, holistic support that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Deliver high quality, individualised teaching to pupils with a range of complex needs Plan and deliver an engaging, multi sensory curriculum aligned with pupils' EHCP outcomes Foster pupils' physical, emotional, and social development through consistent routines and nurturing relationships Work collaboratively with therapists, medical teams, support staff, and families to provide coordinated, holistic care Promote independence, communication, and wellbeing through highly differentiated teaching approaches Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally within a special school or complex needs environment Confidence supporting pupils with physical or medical needs (training provided) A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their full potential Position: SEN Class Teacher (Primary) Contract: Full time, permanent Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm Pay: MPR/UPR + SEN allowance Why Join Prospero Teaching?
