Academics is seeking a dedicated, resilient, and compassionate SEN Teacher to support SEN and mainstream schools across Keighley. The Role - SEN Teacher (SEMH/ADHD Specialist)

As an SEN Teacher with Academics, you will:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs and ADHD
• Implement behaviour strategies that promote regulation, engagement, and positive outcomes
• Create a structured, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies
• Support pupils on EHCPs, ensuring targets are met through personalised approaches
• Build strong, trusting relationships that foster emotional resilience and self-confidence
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and barriers

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and ADHD
• Strong behaviour management skills rooted xbpsjku in understanding and consistency
• A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
