This is a temporary position ASAP and is expected to last for the academic year!The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:30 – 15:30. Day-to-day of the role: Main duties include working with a class of pupils in Year 4/5 with high needs. Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons. Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks. Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities. Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed. Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
