Primary SEND Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support

Aspire People are recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a welcoming primary school in North Manchester.
The school has a strong inclusion policy and works proactively to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural guidance.
Your Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Implementing behaviour management strategies consistently
Supporting emotional regulation and resilience building
Assisting with differentiated learning tasks
Recording progress and contributing to individual support plans
Supporting positive transitions throughout the school day
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has recent experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
Remains calm under pressure and can de-escalate situations effectively
Builds strong, professional relationships with pupils
Has a proactive and adaptable approach
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusion
