What does the role involve?

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that follow school policies and meet the expectations of the KS2 National Curriculum. You’ll step in for both scheduled and unforeseen staff absences, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils and also be committed to the possibility of long-term work. Strong classroom management will be essential, as you’ll be responsible for fostering a focused and encouraging learning environment. You’ll work across different year groups, adapting quickly to new classes and subject areas. Most of the time, lesson plans will be provided, though you may occasionally be required to plan and deliver your own sessions.
