Role: PPA Cover Teacher (EYFS – KS2) Rate of Pay: £150 – £210 per day (dependent on experience) Location: Walsall
About the Role
Connex Education is currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Walsall.
This role involves covering lessons across all year groups from EYFS through to KS2. All lessons will be pre-planned by the school, so your focus will be on delivering engaging sessions and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Maintain strong classroom management and ensure a productive learning environment Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom settings Uphold school behaviour policies and ensure consistency across classes This role is ideal for a flexible and proactive teacher who enjoys variety and thrives in different classroom environments.

Role Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Careers Teacher (ECT / NQT) Experience teaching across the primary age range (EYFS – KS2 desirable) Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Adaptable and confident covering different year groups Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
