Key Responsibilities Teach small, focused classes, adapting lessons to meet each pupil’s unique learning style and needs. Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence. Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and pastoral colleagues. Nurture pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and personal development holistically. Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment where every child feels valued. Support pupils in developing essential life skills and independence. Encourage pupil participation and ownership of their learning journey. Maintain excellent safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil wellbeing. Track and assess progress effectively, adapting strategies as needed. Celebrate every success — big or small — and embrace each challenge with positivity.
