Contract: April 2026 - December 2026 (Potential extension until at least January 2027)Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 practitioner looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join a warm, nurturing and community‑focused infant setting for a maternity cover starting after the Easter break.

With a strong focus on early learning foundations, creativity, and well‑being, the team works collaboratively to provide high‑quality teaching and memorable learning experiences for all pupils.
The Role
As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons that support children's academic and personal development
Provide high‑quality teaching in line with the KS1 curriculum, with a strong emphasis on phonics, early writing, and number fluency
Work closely with a supportive team of teachers and support staff
Contribute to the positive, child‑centred ethos of the school
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleaguesThis role offers the exciting possibility of extension until at least January 2027, depending on staffing needs.

QTS‑qualified with proven KS1 experience
Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to securing excellent progress for all learners
Confident in delivering the Year 2 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs in a supportive, child‑friendly way
