Primary Teacher - Key Stage 1 - Stafford and surrounding areasWe are looking to appoint a creative, nurturing, and dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join our committed range of schools located in Stafford and surrounding areas; you will be supporting Key Stage 1: Years 1 or 2 during this vital stage of children's early learning. This role is central to promoting that children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development while developing confidence, independence, and a genuine enthusiasm for school.As a KS1 supply primary teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that reflect the needs and interests of young learners. You will be working on a temporary basis covering a variety of Stafford schools with their many supply needs, whether this be day-to-day, short-term or long-term cover. A strong understanding of early phonics development as well as familiarity with the KS1 curriculum and statutory assessments, including the 'Year 1 Phonics Screening Check' is essential for this role of KS1 Primary Teacher.The role includes:Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.Full class primary teacher responsibilities.Helping to manage classroom behaviour effectively and quickly.Planning, teaching and assessing in line with the National Curriculum where needed for longer term supply.Working collaboratively with staff and parents is essential.Flexibility to work in different schools on a temporary basis helping out with; day-to-day, short term and long terms needs.We are looking for someone who:Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). This role is open to ECT's.Knowledge of the National CurriculumEnhanced DBSProvide 2 teaching referencesAvailable to start ASAPAble to commute to Stafford and surrounding areas daily.Confident to take on planning responsibilities for longer term supply needs.Fully registered to work with Academics.Pay: £140 - £159 a day (dependent upon experience).
