Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher - Year 2

Location: South Birmingham School Type: Catholic Primary School Start Date: Easter 2026

Our Ofsted graded "Good" South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their established team to start Easter 2026. This successful Primary school are based is inner city Birmingham and are seeking a full time qualified teacher for year 2 on a full time basis. This is to cover a maternity leave and is likely to be until Easter 2027

You will have prior UK primary teaching experience and be able to commit to a full time role from September 2025.

Role and Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community lifeQualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Proven experience teaching in primary education Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer:
