Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Barking Pay: £95 - £115 per day Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Start Date: ASAP Commutable from: Newham, Redbridge, Havering, and Tower Hamlets.

Long Term Futures is working with a Barking based school to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and energetic individual to support young learners at the beginning of their educational journey.

You will work closely with class teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially. This long-term position is ideal for anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in a primary setting.

Responsibilities

Assisting the class teacher in the daily management of the classroom and preparation of resources. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis with core subjects like Literacy and Numeracy. Helping to implement tailored learning plans for students with additional needs. Supervising outdoor play and creative activities to encourage social development. Providing a safe and supportive presence to help build pupils' confidence and independence.

Essential Candidate Requirements
