This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to make a real impact-especially supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). No two days are the same, and every day brings the opportunity to support, inspire, and celebrate progress, big or small.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the class teacher to create engaging and inclusive lessons Working one-to-one and with small groups, including pupils with SEN Helping to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs Preparing resources and contributing to a stimulating classroom environment Celebrating pupil progress and helping build confidence and independence
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience in a primary school or similar setting Has supported children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs) Is patient, empathetic, and resilient Builds strong, positive relationships with children and staff Brings energy, creativity, and a sense of humour to the role Is committed to helping every child feel valued and included
