Long Term Futures is looking for a resilient and compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in Ilford. This is a long-term, full-time contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role, focusing on supporting primary-aged pupils with diverse additional needs. You will be working within a dedicated team to provide a tailored educational experience that prioritises the individual development and wellbeing of every child.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. Implement bespoke learning plans and sensory activities designed to meet specific student requirements. Use a variety of communication methods and de-escalation techniques to support positive behaviour. Assist in the personal care or physical therapy needs of pupils where required by their individual plans. Collaborate closely with the SENCO, therapists, and parents to monitor and report on student progress. Essential Candidate Requirements
