Primary Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Whitley Bay to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting from after February half-term.

You’ll be joining a supportive school, focused on making a real difference in children’s lives.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

* Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Work with individual pupils or small groups to support learning
* Assist pupils with additional needs (SEND) when required
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources

Essential Qualifications: (*include 4 max)

* Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting, within the last 5 years.

* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

* Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience

* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
