Are you a passionate educator looking to support local students after the school day ends? We are seeking dedicated tutors in Frodsham to provide personalised 1:1 support for primary school children.
This role is perfect for those who want to help pupils bridge the gap between school and home. Whether it’s helping a Year 3 student find their confidence in reading or guiding a Year 6 pupil through SATs preparation, your goal is to make learning engaging, accessible and fun in a relaxed 1:1 environment.
The Impact You’ll Make
As an After-School Tutor, you will deliver bespoke learning sessions tailored specifically to the primary curriculum. You will work closely with younger learners to build a strong foundation for their future education.
Targeted Primary Teaching: Deliver engaging English and Maths sessions (KS1-KS2)
Build Confidence: Help students who may feel overwhelmed in a busy classroom to find their voice and master the basics.
After-School Consistency: Provide a reliable, supportive presence during those crucial post-school hours to encourage steady academic progress.
Strong Relationships: Work alongside parents and carers in the Frodsham community to create a holistic support system for the student.

What You’ll Need
Primary Subject Knowledge: Strong confidence in delivering the KS1/KS2 National Curriculum (Maths and English).
Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience. (QTS/PGCE is preferred, but we welcome experienced tutors and Academic Mentors).
A Patient Approach: An adaptable, student-centred approach
Safeguarding: An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
