Quantum Scholars are currently seeking experienced primary tutors, including qualified teachers, to deliver 1:1, in-person tuition to pupils receiving Alternative Provision or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) in Hillingdon. In this rewarding role, you will be supporting pupils who are currently out of mainstream education. Many of the young people we work with have additional needs such as ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs, and benefit greatly from personalised learning and consistent support. Tuition is delivered on a 1:1 basis, usually in the pupil's home or within a suitable community setting. Sessions are tailored to each pupil, helping them re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and develop key academic and personal skills. As a tutor, you will play an important role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment while planning and preparing lessons and resources to meet each pupil's individual needs. Role details Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils outside of mainstream education Flexible, part-time hours that can fit around your schedule Sessions typically take place during school hours Opportunities available across Hillingdon What we're looking for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred Experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils A calm, patient, and resilient approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Ability to travel to Hillingdon for in-person tutoring sessions This is a fantastic opportunity for tutors and teachers who want to make a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility and impact of personalised 1:1 teaching.
