Prime Services is an area within Markets Technology, supporting a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. The Core Program Manager role is responsible for managing technology new product rollouts, upgrades, and improvements by coordinating with a diverse group of global teams such as business, internal technology, and operations teams to build‑out and maintain our next‑generation Prime Services platforms.
Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream technology transformation programs from initiation through to benefits realization, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope with clear change control governance.
Establish and maintain best‑in‑class program governance frameworks, including RAID logs, decision registers, change control boards, and program health dashboards.
Build and sustain trusted, influential relationships with Managing Director and C‑suite stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Lead without formal authority across globally distributed, matrixed teams while inspiring confidence and followership at all levels.
Demonstrate equal effectiveness in small focused projects and large‑scale, multi‑year enterprise programs.
Demonstrate deep, hands‑on proficiency with enterprise AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Stylus Workspaces, AI‑assisted project management platforms) and leverage AI to accelerate delivery through automated reporting, meeting summarisation, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication drafting.
Expert‑level Jira proficiency: backlog management, sprint planning, epic and story structuring, custom dashboards, advanced JQL queries, and automated reporting.
Mastery of Confluence as the single source of truth for program documentation: wikis, decision logs, RAID registers, meeting minutes, and stakeholder‑facing artefacts.
Key Skills and Experience Required
Proven leadership track record accompanied by experience within Prime Services technology.
Deep understanding of the products associated within Prime Services business.
Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive cross‑functional alignment at all levels of the organization.
Experience working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders on complex, cross‑functional projects.
Extensive stakeholder management across all levels of Technology and Markets Businesses, influencing and building trusted relationships.
Deep knowledge of IT development/engineering, product management, and program management to enable effective collaboration with partners in those disciplines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distil complex program status into crisp, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
Relentless focus on outcomes, bringing structure, rigor, and momentum to every program.
Nimble and flexible, thriving in ambiguity and rapidly onboarding to any technology domain, program size, or organizational context.
