Job Title Principal Architect – Building Design Projects

Location Heathrow — Hybrid/Flexible

The Principal Architect will lead complex building projects through all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, from early concept to completion and post-occupancy review. The role involves setting the design direction, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, and delivering high-quality planning and technical design. Responsibilities include leading design development, overseeing BIM coordination, maintaining design quality, and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Required Qualifications & Experience

• Accredited degree(s) in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch) and professional licensure/registration (e.g., RIBA Part 3/ARB, NCARB/AIA, or local equivalent).

• 10–15+ years’ experience delivering mid- to large-scale building projects, including leading multi-disciplinary teams.

• Demonstrable success securing planning approvals and delivering projects through technical design to construction.

• Strong proficiency with Revit/BIM, coordination tools (Navisworks/Solibri), and productivity suites (MS 365).

• Portfolio showing excellence in design quality, buildability, and budget/time performance.
