Principal Asbestos Consultant Up to £46,000 + Benefits | West Midlands An established UKAS‑accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a Principal Asbestos Consultant to support continued growth across the Midlands. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Consultant looking to step into a leadership‑focused role within a respected asbestos management and compliance business. As Principal, Asbestos Consultant, you'll take the lead on complex asbestos projects while supporting regional performance and client relationships. Key Responsibilities

Overseeing asbestos projects from initial instruction through to final delivery Making sure contracts are running smoothly and meeting agreed standards Reviewing and signing off reports before they go out to clients Being a main point of contact for key accounts and long-term frameworks Supporting and guiding Surveyors and Analysts within the team Ensuring all work aligns with UKAS procedures and current legislation Keeping an eye on project timelines, resources and overall performance

The successful Principal Asbestos Consultant will have

BOHS P402, P403 & P404, M504 or P405 certifications Minimum 10 years' experience within a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy Strong background in asbestos surveying and asbestos analytical services Experience managing asbestos frameworks and multi-site projectsExcellent knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and HSE guidance Full UK driving licence CoCA (Certificate of Competence in Asbestos) desirable
