Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to join their growing team! Duties: Technical leadership Team and project management
If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description. - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages Undertake structural design for projects including power, energy, rail and renewables Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliveralbes Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors Requirements: BEng or MEng in Civil orStructural Engineering.
Minimum of 2years relevant experience in a design consultancy.
Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.
Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications.
Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in health and safety management, including CDM Risk Registers.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to present ideas confidently.
Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status. xehkeey
A current clean UK driving license is advantageous.
