Our client is a recognised leader in the delivery of cloud-first data platform solutions, analytics, and managed services for enterprise organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of complex Microsoft Azure data projects
• Architect cloud-native data platform solutions aligned with business needs
• Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for other consultants
• Support business development activities including solution design and work scoping
• Deliver high-quality technical outputs and ensure best practices are followed
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and contribute to the development of internal IP
• Identify opportunities to add value and support long-term client success

Essential Technical Skills

This role requires practical, hands-on experience in enterprise data engineering and Azure cloud data technologies. You must be confident working across:

• Azure Data Services, including:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks
• Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
• Python and PySpark for data engineering, transformation, and automation
• ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse structured and unstructured data sources
• Data lakehouse and data warehouse architecture design
• Power BI for enterprise-grade reporting and visualisation
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, SQL, and governance best practices

Consulting & Project Delivery Experience

• 8+ years in professional services or consulting, ideally with Microsoft data technologies
• Strong background in client-facing delivery and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience contributing to pre-sales (SOWs, proposals, estimation)
• Able to lead agile project teams and ensure delivery excellence
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities for further engagement
