Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Principal DosimetristLondon Bridge Hospital Radiotherapy, part of the London Bridge Hospital campus  37.5 hours per week Mon-FriPermanentSalary: Competitive dependent upon experienceWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced dosimetrist to join our multi-disciplinary London Bridge Hospital Radiotherapy team based at Guy's Hospital.  Reporting to the Lead Dosimetrist across our London facilities, the post holder will line manage a team of dosimetrists based at London Bridge Hospital Radiotherapy.  The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of all treatment planning procedures undertaken and assist in the development of protocols with close collaboration with physicists and the Radiotherapy team.  You will be expected to provide and support training to the Dosimetry team and other staff members.At HCA UK we care about what you care about. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.  You will provide line management and professional support for a team of dosimetrists at London Bridge Hospital and manage the workflow through treatment planning to meet expected turnaround times and clinical deadlines. You'll manage and maintain relationships with clinical oncologists, whilst demonstrating expert knowledge and experience in producing complex treatment plans for all applicable treatment sites within radiotherapy.You'll be the go-to subject matter expert on new and advanced treatment planning techniques; exploring opportunities for improving quality and efficiency in treatment planning.What you'll bring:Degree or equivalent in relevant subject e.g. Radiotherapy, Radiography, Physics, or Clinical Technology. Registration relevant to professional background (HCPC, AHCS, or route to registration with RCT).Extensive experience of Radiotherapy treatment planning and checkingExperience of working in a clinical environment as a treatment planner and plan checker​Experience of using Eclipse TPS and Aria OIS Experience of planning stereotactic treatments for Linacs Practical experience of radiotherapy equipment (linear accelerators, treatment planning systems and dosimetry)For further information, or to arrange an informal visit, please contact Stephanie Houghton, Lead Dosimetrist () or David King, Lead Physicist for Treatment Planning & Brachytherapy (). Why HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world's leading healthcare providers.
