Principal DSP Engineer | £70-80k | Cambridge

My client is looking for an expert to ensure best-in-class audio clarity, loudness, and performance.

Based in the heart of the Cambridge audio scene, this company is rapidly growing & pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of audio DSP

Responsibilities:

• Design the complete acoustic path for new products to meet aggressive audio targets
• Implement, tune, and optimise DSP algorithms like noise suppression, echo cancellation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in audio product development, with a strong focus on micro-acoustics
• Deep understanding of electro-acoustic transducers
• Proven experience with acoustic simulation software (COMSOL, FEA)
• Proficiency in a programming/scripting language (MATLAB, Python) for data analysis

Nice to have skills:

• Experience tuning DSP algorithms on embedded platforms
• Knowledge of RF/EMI shielding for audio circuits
• Familiarity with wireless protocols (DMR, P25, LTE)
