Overview of role An experiencedelectricalbuilding services engineer is required to lead the design and delivery of complex projects across healthcare, public sector, education and commercial buildings. The role combines technical leadership, client-facing responsibilities and team management within a growing, sustainability-focused MEP design practice.? The position sits within the senior leadership group, with responsibility for shaping project delivery, supporting net zero and low-carbon design strategies, and mentoring engineers at all levels Role responsibilities and requirements Lead electrical building services design on new build, refurbishment and retrofit projects, from concept through to handover, ensuring compliance with current standards and client requirements. Act as primary client contact on assigned projects, handling both technical and commercial discussions and building long-term relationships. Plan and manage workloads, resources and programme across multiple simultaneous projects, supporting the senior leadership team on pipeline and resourcing decisions. Provide technical leadership on healthcare projects, including application of HTMs and HBNs (or equivalent), and support the development of sector capability across the team.
