Principal Engineer (Building Services) | 6 months | Hybrid Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the design and development of Building Services, Control Systems, HVAC systems, and Fire Detection Systems.

Provide technical oversight to a small-to-medium design team, ensuring quality and compliance.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

Apply nuclear industry design standards and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.

Utilise specialist design software tools including AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, and PDMS/Aviva 3D.

Report progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.

5+ years' experience working within the nuclear industry .

Chartered Electrical Engineer (or equivalent professional qualification).

Proven experience in Building Services, Control Systems, HVAC systems, and Fire Detection Systems.

Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing design teams.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, and PDMS/Aviva 3D.
