LOCATION: Any UK location near a Worley office
TERMS: Permanent, full-time, hybrid with travel (1-2 weeks per year)
Worley Environment and Society, part of Worley Consulting, provides environmental and social services for clients in mining, energy transition, clean energy (solar, wind, hydrogen), financial, and infrastructure sectors. We work on some of the most innovative and large-scale projects globally, across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, including subsea marine and terrestrial environmental and social services.

What You Will Do:
- Identify project opportunities, pursue new business, and deliver environmental services successfully.
- Manage large environmental management projects across EMEA.
- Lead environmental and social due diligence on projects in the region.
- Build relationships with environmental leaders and experts within client organizations to grow business.
- Collaborate with Worley teams across locations to deliver environmental services.
- Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
- Plan and advise on permitting in the UK and Europe, including EPR applications and EIAs.
- Manage interface between engineering and permitting contractors.
- Develop RFIs to support client permitting processes.
- Conduct environmental and social due diligence following international standards (GIIP, IFC PS, WB EHS, EBRD PR).
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Master’s) in Environmental Management or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing international environmental and social impact assessments.
- Experience working with financial institutions and lenders.
- Experience across project lifecycle stages, including due diligence, site selection, and rehabilitation.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- Proven track record of technical and project delivery.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
