Principal Geotechnical Engineer London £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a Principal geotechnical engineer to join an award winning engineering consultancy where the senior employees have a huge say in company development. You will be working some the most exciting geotechnical design projects available in the industry. This ground engineering consultancy and are looking for a principal geotechnical engineer to take on technically challenging tasks and help expand the team, to keep on top of the demand.

The key responsibilities for this principal geotechnical engineer position: * Site Investigation Strategy: Designing, procuring, and supervising complex Ground Investigations (GIs), including desk studies, intrusive investigations, and laboratory testing programs. * Technical Reporting: Reviewing and checking Ground Investigation Reports (GIRs) and Geotechnical Design Reports (GDRs) in accordance with Eurocode 7 and UK standards. * Project Delivery: Managing multidisciplinary projects, maintaining budgets, and ensuring high-quality, safe delivery (CDM Regulations). * Mentorship: Coaching junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous technical improvement. * Client Liaison: Actively participating in client-facing roles, including proposal writing and work winning.
