Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument Engineer on a contract basis outside IR35. The role involves hybrid working, requiring 3 days per week in the Aberdeen office.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing instrument engineering support to the client contract
• Executing work according to contract procedures, standards, and budgets
• Originate and check instrument engineering deliverables
• Staying informed of regulatory, legislative, and technological developments
• Managing discipline CTRs, contributing to estimates, proposals, and plans
• Developing calculation packages
• Performing site or client office visits as needed
• Presenting engineering solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Organizing and coordinating work and resources
• Supporting quality and technical assurance activities

Qualifications: MSc, MEng, BSc, BEng, HNC/HND or equivalent with relevant experience.
