Principal Mechanical Engineer | Bristol (Hybrid) | Sustainable Design Focus
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to lead impactful projects and drive low-carbon design? Join a forward-thinking, agile consultancy where your expertise will shape innovative building services solutions across the UK.
The Role
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery leading design, engaging with clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes on site, as well as mentoring Junior Engineers.
What You’ll Do
Lead mechanical design on a range of new-build and refurbishment projects Deliver projects in line with RIBA work stages Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors Oversee installation, commissioning, and quality of delivery Mentor Junior Engineers Champion sustainable, low-carbon engineering solutions
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience delivering UK building services projects Strong understanding of RIBA stages Confident communicator and team collaborator Proactive problem solver with a practical mindset Degree / HND / HNC qualified Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM (desirable)
