The Cardiff office is looking for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to support and deliver electrical design services on a wide range of projects. Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across multiple building sectors. Lead the development of initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet brief requirements and regulatory standards. Regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including client meetings and internal team coordination. Assist the team leader in monitoring fee expenditure, resource allocation and delivered work. Mentor and support junior professionals, apprentices and graduates.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record of delivering on complex projects. Experience with modern technical delivery processes and relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux. Demonstrated experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented consultancy role. Self‑awareness, an open mind and a spirit of generosity. Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
