Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sustainability workstreams and act as Discipline Project Lead
  • Develop and manage project resource plans
  • Prepare and deliver sustainability statements and reports for planning submissions
  • Facilitate and lead client and multidisciplinary design team workshops with confidence
  • Delegate, manage, and review work produced by junior team members
  • Undertake or oversee Part L, Part O, overheating and energy modelling
  • Undertake or oversee Environmental and wellbeing assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM)
  • Undertake or oversee Whole life carbon assessments
  • Undertake or oversee Net zero carbon strategies
  • Undertake or oversee Operational energy analysis
  • Contribute to Technical Excellence communities and support internal knowledge sharing
  • Mentor and train junior colleagues across technical delivery, consultancy skills, and project management

Candidate Requirements

  • Advanced experience in building performance modelling, including Part L, Part O, and thermal comfort assessments
  • Proven ability to lead sustainability workstreams and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training junior staff
  • Strong track record delivering environmental and wellbeing assessments
  • Whole life carbon assessment experience (One Click LCA desirable)
  • Experience supporting successful planning applications; knowledge of the Cardiff and London markets would be advantageous
