Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer\n\nLocation: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n\nSalary: Negotiable, depending on experience\n\nWhat you’ll be doing: \n\nWe are looking for a wide range of experience within Systems Engineering to work on existing and future Submarine programmes, the role may involve:\n\nWorking across a number of areas of the Engineering V-lifecycle in the concepts, architecture, design and development of Submarines and associated complex, software intensive, systems\n\nWorking across several areas of the Engineering V-lifecycle in the qualification, integration and acceptance of sub-systems, systems and systems of systems\n\nDelivering transformational programmes on day-to-day Systems Engineering frameworks and modernisation of systems engineering ways of working\n\nYour skills and experiences: \n\nEssential:\n\nKnowledge and experience of Systems Engineering principles and processes\n\nKnowledge and experience of the Engineering V-lifecycle\n\nDesirable:\n\nSTEM related degree or previous experience in submarines, nuclear or other highly regulated environment\n\nExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering principles and processes\n\nKnowledge or awareness of ISO15288\n\nRequirements Management and evidence gathering experience\n\nEnterprise architecture experience\n\nSystems Architecture experience\n\nSystems / product integration, verification and validation experience\n\nSystems / product qualification and acceptance experience\n\nSystems engineering management / leadership experience\n\nSystems engineering toolset experience such as DOORS, Cameo, Enterprise Architect etc.\n\nBenefits: \n\nYou’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
