Morson Edge is currently recruiting for a Principal Town Planner to join an established planning-led consultancy based in Gloucestershire. With a diverse project pipeline covering residential, strategic land, and renewable energy schemes, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects, work independently, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing team. You'll be working alongside a small, experienced team, managing projects from inception through to completion, and helping to mentor junior staff while supporting client management and business development. What You'll Be Doing Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects, including residential, strategic, and renewable schemes, from inception through to delivery.

Taking responsibility for client relationships and managing consultants where required.

Preparing planning applications, statements, reports, and supporting technical documents.

Participating in public consultations and representing projects to stakeholders.
