With a long-standing presence in Northern Ireland and an exceptional track record delivering complex projects across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Defence and more, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business with real scale, stability and forward momentum.Your new roleAs a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering multiple medium-large scale building services projects, guiding project teams and acting as a key technical and client-facing figure.You'll oversee all aspects of electrical design delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence, commercial awareness and seamless project coordination.Your responsibilities will include:Leading electrical building services design across a variety of sectorsProducing detailed design calculations, drawings, reports, specifications and schedulesCarrying out site surveys and assessing existing installationsEnsuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and health & safety requirementsSupporting construction stage duties and collaborating with wider design and construction teamsProviding mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineersContributing to fee proposals, bids and resource planningBuilding strong client relationships and supporting directors in workload managementWhat you'll need to succeed Degree-educated in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related disciplineChartered Engineer status (CEng), or actively working towards itProven experience managing and delivering building services projects from concept to handoverStrong communication and client-facing skills, with the confidence to engage at all levelsAbility to nurture existing client relationships and support business growthSolid commercial understanding including cost control and project financialsExperience mentoring junior engineers and supporting team developmentStrong awareness of sustainability, energy efficiency and emerging renewable technologiesProficiency with relevant digital tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, NBS, MS OfficeFull UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in returnThis is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the world's leading engineering consultancies, contributing to complex and meaningful projects that shape the built environment.
