Principal Product Lead

Location: Leeds 2-3 Days a Week

The Role

As Principal Product Lead, you'll shape the long-term vision for a national streaming platform. You'll set the strategy, define an outcome-based roadmap, and lead high-impact initiatives across Product, Technology, Commercial, Editorial, Insights and Marketing.

This is a senior leadership role owning major product decisions, influencing global vendors, and championing a streaming-first mindset across the organisation.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve the streaming product strategy
• Set the product vision and build compelling exec-level business cases
• Lead the roadmap, budget planning and prioritisation
• Drive delivery with internal teams and external technology partners
• Embed best-in-class product practices and Agile ways of working
• Use data, insights and experimentation to improve performance
• Lead discovery, ideation and innovation across the streaming experience

What We're Looking For

• Strong track record leading product teams
• Experience in digital product organisations, ideally streaming, media or tech
• Proven success delivering product strategies with measurable outcomes
• Excellent data literacy and comfort with metrics and experimentation
• Experience working with UX/UI, technology partners and third-party vendors
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance audience and business needs
• Comfortable leading through change and organisational transformation

• Media industry experience
