Job Description A leading technology solutions provider based in Belfast is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to join an established team working on the design and delivery of modern, enterprise-grade digital platforms. This is a newly created position within a growing team, focused on delivering innovative solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, M365, Azure and the Power Platform. As a Principal Solutions Engineer, you will architect, design and implement complex solutions, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality technical outcomes. You will also contribute to pre-sales, produce proof-of-concepts, and guide clients through digital transformation initiatives. The Role * Lead the elicitation of customer needs and translate them into clear technical and functional requirements * Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developers on solution design and delivery * Plan, estimate, design, and implement solutions using established patterns and best practices * Continuously develop technical expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem * Support pre-sales teams with demonstrations and technical input * Develop proof-of-concepts to support bids and early discussions * Work within a quality-driven environment aligned with industry development methodologies The Person * Demonstrable experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions * Experience with SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform * Experience working within Agile delivery environments * Strong client engagement and stakeholder management experience * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Positive, proactive attitude when handling technical and commercial challenges * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and balance technical and business needs * Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively Desirable: * Current Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform) Additional Requirements * Flexibility to work in the office, remotely, and on client sites as needed * Alignment with the organisation's values and client-centric approach Reporting Line Reports to: Senior leadership or designated Project Manager Location Hybrid working, with occasional travel to client sites.
