Finishing Operative (Print Production / Digital Cutting)
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail focused Finishing Operative to join a busy print production environment on a temporary 3 month contract starting in May. This role sits within the Finishing Department and involves a variety of manual and machine-based finishing processes for printed materials.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production output during peak periods, with a primary focus on cutting printed materials using digital cutting equipment.

Pay Rate:
£13.00 per hour, weekly pay

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting printed rolls, sheets and panels using digital cutting equipment (e.g., Zünd, Esko Kongsberg or similar)

*

Lamination and mounting of self-adhesive vinyl onto sheets and substrates

*

Applying Velcro, tape and other finishing materials

*

Performing general manual finishing tasks within the production department

*

Supporting high-volume cutting work during busy production periods

*

Scanning jobs and updating production statuses within internal systems

*

Completing digital forms and basic production documentation

Requirements:

*

Previous experience operating digital cutting equipment (e.g., Zünd or Esko Kongsberg) is highly desirable

*

Experience within a print production or finishing environment preferred

*

Comfortable carrying out repetitive manual tasks with high attention to detail

*

Computer literate, with ability to update digital systems and complete basic data entry

*

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

*

Willingness to learn and follow structured production processes

Working Hours:

*

Monday to Friday 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM

*

8-hour shifts (plus 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

*

Occasional weekend and evening work may be available for additional hours
