We are currently seeking an experienced and reliablePrison Cleared GPto join the clinical team supporting healthcare services within a secure environment inStafford. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for aLocum GPwho thrives in dynamic settings and is confident working with complex cases. Youll be delivering high-quality primary care to patients with a wide range of physical, mental health, and substance misuse needs, helping to make a genuine difference to an often underrepresented population.

Key Details:

  • £100 per hour (via Umbrella)

  • Locum GP

  • 3 days per week

  • Run clinics and deliver holistic, patient-centred care to a diverse prison population

  • Conduct segregation rounds and complete administrative duties

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, mental health, and substance misuse services

  • Participate in MDTs and contribute to continuity of care and risk management

  • Support education, safeguarding, and health promotion initiatives within the prison

About You:

  • GMC Registered with a full licence to practise

  • Prison Cleared GP(essential)

  • Previous experience in secure environments or urgent care settings preferred
