We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Prison Cleared GP to join the clinical team supporting healthcare services within a secure environment in Stafford . This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Locum GP who thrives in dynamic settings and is confident working with complex cases. Youll be delivering high-quality primary care to patients with a wide range of physical, mental health, and substance misuse needs, helping to make a genuine difference to an often underrepresented population. Key Details: £100 per hour (via Umbrella)
Locum GP
3 days per week
Run clinics and deliver holistic, patient-centred care to a diverse prison population
Conduct segregation rounds and complete administrative duties
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, mental health, and substance misuse services
Participate in MDTs and contribute to continuity of care and risk management
Support education, safeguarding, and health promotion initiatives within the prison
About You: GMC Registered with a full licence to practise
Prison Cleared GP (essential)
Previous experience in secure environments or urgent care settings preferred
