The Role As a Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients while supporting senior leadership on complex advisory projects. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base and a wide range of tax issues affecting privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses.
You will:
Manage a portfolio of private business clients, acting as a key point of contact for tax matters
Provide advice on a range of corporate and shareholder tax issues affecting privately owned groups
Support clients through business restructures, transactions, and strategic tax planning initiatives
Work closely with specialists across tax, deals, and other advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions
Oversee the delivery of tax compliance work while identifying opportunities for additional advisory support
Manage project delivery, ensuring work is completed to a high technical standard and within agreed timelines
Coach and develop junior team members, reviewing work and supporting their professional development
Build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the team
Your Experience The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
ACA / CTA qualification (or equivalent)
Strong xehkeey UK tax technical knowledge
Experience working with privately owned or mid-market businesses
The ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Strong project management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships
