I am working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm that is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5–8 years PQE) to join their expanding team in Chichester.

\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded solicitor to take a leading role in the development of the firm’s Private Client Department in Chichester, while benefiting from an immediate caseload of quality work referred from the firm’s busy Haywards Heath office.
\n
\nThe Role The successful candidate will manage a full and varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
\n 

\n\t
• Wills and estate planning
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Probate and estate administration
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Trusts and tax planning
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work
  \n\t 
\n

You will also play a key role in building and expanding the department locally, with support from an established and collaborative wider Private Client team.

\nKey Responsibilities

\n\t
• Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Providing high-quality legal advice across all areas of Private Client work
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Taking an active role in business development and marketing initiatives
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team as the department grows
  \n\t 
\n

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with 5–8 years PQE in Private Client work
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Proven experience handling a broad range of matters independently
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  \n\t 
\n\t
• Ambitious, proactive, and keen to contribute to departmental growth
